  • 1kg desiree potatoes peeled chopped
  • 1 3 cup 80ml buttermilk warmed
  • 30g butter chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 coles australian beef t bone steaks 300g each
  • 2 red onions cut into thick wedges
  • 1 tablespoon traditional gravy powder
  • 1 3 cup 80ml red wine
  • 2 teaspoons wholegrain mustard
  • steamed sugar snap peas to serve
  • parsley leaves to serve

  • place the potato in a medium saucepan of cold water bring to boil over high heat and cook for 15 mins or until tender drain return potato to the pan and shake over low heat to remove any excess liquid add buttermilk and butter mash until smooth season with salt and pepper
